"Le prince de la Sicile! C'est ainsi que les Siciliens appellent affectueusement leur Nero d'Avola. Et il faut admettre que cette cuvée Sà gana, issue de ce fantastique cépage, a tout pour prétendre à la principauté; de la race, de la classe, de l'élégance, et de l'attitude avec un nom qui veut dire « je suis le meilleur ». Fondé par les frères Cusumano à la fin des années 90, ce vignoble sicilien de près de 400 hectares s'est vite fait remarqué pour la grande qualité de ces vins. Le premier millésime du Sà gana était le 2001 et aujourd'hui, près de 15 ans plus tard, il jouit avec raison d'une réputation enviable. Il sent bon les cerises, les prunes, les fruits des bois et les épices, escortés de notes chocolatées. Belle minéralité en bouche, de la densité, des flaveurs de bonne persistance et un équilibre impeccable complètent le tableau. Dégourdir en carafe 15 minutes et servir à 17 °C. Il convient au gigot d'agneau, aux filets de boeuf aux champignons, à l'osso buco, aux brochettes d'agneau, au rôti de boeuf aux herbes salées."
